They worshiped her and realized she had saved the baby. However in the end they ended up burying the puppy in the backyard and the dog was so sad and found out that she was never coming back. On the other hand in the story, A Lamb To Slaughter, someone else also died but no one was feeling remorse like in A Dog's Tale. The husband had came home from work and told his wife he was going to leave. She was furious and took a lamb chop and hit him on the head with it and killed him. Police came to investigate and found nothing but they did suspect that the evidence was probably right under their nose. However the wife was sneaky and she cooked the lamb chop and fed it to the police so they ended up eating the evidence so she was never found out. No one was there to save him or cry. There are very huge differences between the two stories.

Compare and Contrast
I would like to compare/contrast two stories. The story A Dog's Tale by Mark Twain is about a Presbyterian dog that lives with a family. He is a really good and loyal dog that the family loves. Before she moved she had her own family but got separated from them. Her mom was very smart and would say huge words as if she was reading from a dictionary. Once she got older they took her and she was sold to a family. The family really appreciated her and she would try to learn from them like her mother taught her. Then later a fire started in the babies crib and the dog went to save him but the master thought he was hurting the baby so he yelled at her. the master then kicked the dog forcefully in the leg breaking it. The dog was in serious pain and was trying to get away to hide from the master. She ran away and the little girl Sadie found her and brought her back.
